At Genesis we are dedicated to giving back in any way we can. We are proud to be involved with incredible charitable organizations such as Overland Missions, Wigs for Kids, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention & Alzheimers Association and more!
Genesis was able to support Overland Missions by providing crucial resources like projectors and Light-streams (Bible and media sharing devices) to reach more people with the Gospel in a predominately unreached nation in North Africa.
In the fall of 2021 Genesis gave back a total of $3,000 to the Alzheimers Association and $2,361.67 to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. These organizations are very important to our team and we are very passionate about the support they give.
Our clients are constantly taking advantage of our Wigs for Kids partnership by getting a big chop and making a little girl's dream come true!
Wigs For Kids brings together stylists and hair donors who want to help children suffering from medical issues and treatments like alopecia, trichotillomania, burns, chemotherapy or any other medical causes of hair loss. All it takes is the right hairstylist with the right pair of scissors and someone willing to donate a ponytail!
Our list also includes Anchor Point, which provides crucial support to single moms and their babies. Every month, a portion of our proceeds goes directly to Anchor Point's initiatives, helping to empower and enrich the lives of women and babies who need it most.
But our commitment to giving back doesn't stop there. We are also passionate about sustainability and taking care of our planet. That's why we've joined forces with Green Circle Salons, an innovative program that transforms our beauty waste into clean energy and new products.
From recycling hair clippings to properly disposing of hair color chemicals, we ensure that our salon's environmental footprint remains as small as possible. With each haircut and style, our clients can take pride in knowing that they, too, are contributing to a greener, more eco-conscious community!
